Information under the GDPR

Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains which personal data are processed when you visit this website and when you get in touch. Personal data are any information that can be used to identify a person directly or indirectly.

2. Hosting via GitHub Pages

This website is provided via GitHub Pages. The providers are GitHub B.V., Prins Bernhardplein 200, 1097 JB Amsterdam, Netherlands, and GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

When you access the website, technically necessary connection data are processed. These may include in particular your IP address, the time of the request, the page accessed and information about your browser and operating system. GitHub states that the IP address is logged and stored for security purposes when a GitHub Pages website is visited.

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely, stably and in a technically reliable way. Further information can be found in GitHub's privacy statement.

3. Local content, cookies and audience measurement

Fonts, images, videos and stylesheets are delivered directly by this website. Loading a page therefore does not establish a connection to external font, image or video services. The only exception is the statistics script described below.

This website stores no cookies of its own in your browser and uses no advertising trackers and no contact forms. A consent banner is therefore not required.

For audience measurement we use Plausible Analytics. The provider is Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. When you open a page, a script is loaded from plausible.io; for technical reasons your IP address is transmitted to the provider in the process. The data is processed and stored exclusively on servers within the European Union.

Plausible works without cookies and without cross-device recognition. No personal data is stored: your IP address and browser identifier are processed only briefly in order to derive a daily rotating, non-reversible checksum that groups repeat visits within a single day. After 24 hours even that connection can no longer be established. What is recorded is therefore only aggregated information such as the page visited, the referral source, device type, browser and country. We also record how often links to our email address and phone number are clicked for statistical purposes.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to understand how this website is found and used so that we can improve it in a targeted way. Further information can be found in the Plausible privacy policy and the Plausible data policy.

Should a contact form or another service be added later, this privacy policy will be updated before it is activated.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry. This may include in particular your name, contact details, the content of your enquiry and any other information you provide voluntarily.

Where the enquiry concerns the initiation or performance of a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to answer your enquiry properly. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

5. Appointment booking via TidyCal

The appointment buttons on this website are external links to our booking profile at TidyCal. A connection to TidyCal is only established once you open such a link. For the booking, TidyCal processes the information requested there, in particular contact details, appointment details and any messages you provide voluntarily. We receive the information needed to prepare and hold the booked conversation.

The provider is Sumo Group Inc., doing business as TidyCal, 1305 E. 6th St #3, Austin, TX 78702, USA. Processing serves to arrange appointments and is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Information on processing, on possible transfers to third countries and on your rights as a data subject can be found in TidyCal's privacy policy and in the Data Processing Agreement.

6. WhatsApp and LinkedIn

This website contains only external links to WhatsApp and LinkedIn. No social media plug-ins are embedded, and no content from these providers is loaded when you simply visit the website. Only when you click a link do you leave our website; the respective provider may then process personal data.

Using these links is voluntary. Alternatively, you can contact us by email or phone. Further information can be found in the privacy notices of WhatsApp and LinkedIn.

7. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. The data are then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage apply.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, a message to team@konferenzwerk.com is sufficient.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., 1592 Sofia, Bulgaria, email: kzld@cpdp.bg, website: cpdp.bg.

10. Updates to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy when the website or the services used change.
